    The VENDORS & INSTALLATION EXPERTS'  Division

     

        This division of the American Academy of VistA EHR Technology serves the software vendors and hardware installation experts of VistA Technology. This group provides VistA consultation, support and service. Software with configuration,  hardware selection, design and installation whether through a wireless network or a hardwired system are their expertise.

     

    This includes:

  • Software & hardware needs evaluation
  • Software maintenance
  • Software installation, including:
    • General Configuration
    • Specialty Specific Configuration
    • Initial instruction upon installation
    • Maintenance, modification and upgrades
  • Hardware installation ( with optimization )
  • Hardware maintenance ( with support )
  • Network installation ( with support )
    • Local Area Network
    • Local Wireless Network
    • Wide Area Network
    • Worldwide Web Network

     

    The software is customized to the requirements of each user because it is so large that any given user does not need all the components available.

    Members of this division may also provide the necessary initial instructions to the users and help the users worldwide to take full advantage of the built in efficiencies of the VistA EHR technology.
